Cloud and AI consulting in Lille, France, close to your teams
Feekr is a cloud and AI consulting firm based in Villeneuve-d’Ascq, in the Lille metropolitan area (northern France), close to the Belgian border. We work with organisations on site when it matters and remotely the rest of the time.
A cloud and AI consulting firm rooted in the Lille metropolitan area
Feekr is based at 11B avenue de l’Harmonie, Villeneuve-d’Ascq, in the heart of the Lille European Metropolis in northern France. We support organisations in two complementary areas: cloud consulting on AWS and Azure (migration, architecture, FinOps, security, operations) and artificial intelligence in production (generative AI, agents, assistants that work on your documents, governance).
Our founder, Mohamed El Mardi, is a senior DevOps and cloud engineer. He designs AWS infrastructure described entirely as code (Terraform, Terraspace, OpenTofu), including in regulated settings such as HDS (Hébergement de Données de Santé, the French certification for hosting health data). The same standard applies to every project: architecture that is documented, reproducible and easy for your teams to take over.
Where we are: northern France, at the crossroads of Europe
Lille sits in the far north of France, right next to the Belgian border, within reach of Paris, Brussels and London. For an international organisation looking for a cloud or AI partner in France or Europe, this location makes it straightforward to combine on-site sessions with remote work.
Why a partner close at hand helps
A cloud or AI project is not decided in a console alone. It is decided in meetings where IT, finance and business teams have to make trade-offs together. Being nearby helps in three practical ways.
- On-site workshops when they count. Scoping, mapping the existing estate, architecture choices, presenting findings to leadership: these moments work best around a table, in your offices, with the right people.
- Responsiveness. Being based in the metropolitan area, we can quickly arrange an in-person meeting when a decision is stuck or a team needs support.
- Knowledge of the regional economy. The constraints of a retailer, a logistics provider or a manufacturer are not those of a start-up. We match the level of sophistication to your organisation and your teams.
The rest of the work (building, Infrastructure as Code, testing, documentation) is mostly done remotely, with short check-ins and deliverables shared as we go.
Where we work
We work on site in Lille and throughout the Lille European Metropolis: Villeneuve-d’Ascq, Roubaix, Tourcoing, Marcq-en-Barœul, Lambersart, La Madeleine, Wasquehal, Lezennes and neighbouring towns.
We also travel across the rest of the Hauts-de-France region for the key moments of a project (scoping workshops, presentations of findings, team training).
Elsewhere in France and Europe, we work remotely, with on-site visits planned from the outset when the project justifies them.
The regional economy and its cloud and AI challenges
The Lille metropolitan area and the Hauts-de-France region bring together sectors with very different digital needs. Without claiming to be exhaustive, here are the challenges we encounter most often by sector.
| Sector | Common cloud challenges | Relevant AI use cases |
|---|---|---|
| Retail, distribution, e-commerce | Seasonal traffic peaks, cost control, e-commerce platforms | Customer service assistants, product catalogue processing |
| Logistics and transport | System availability, integrations between partners, real-time data | Automated document processing, agents connected to business tools |
| Manufacturing | Modernising legacy applications, combining factory systems and cloud | Assistants for technical and maintenance documentation |
| Healthcare | HDS-certified health data hosting, security, traceability | Well-governed AI on sensitive data, stronger governance |
| Services, banking, insurance | Compliance, governance, reversibility | Document search, drafting assistance, quality control |
In every case the approach is the same: start from business priorities, check data and security constraints, then choose the simplest solution that meets the need.
What we do for organisations in Lille
Cloud
- Migration to AWS or Azure: inventory, strategy per application, wave plan, cutover.
- Cloud cost optimisation and FinOps: visibility, allocation, savings levers measured on your own data.
- Cloud security and governance: accounts, identities, networking, logging, compliance.
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform: reproducible, documented environments.
Artificial intelligence
- AI agents for business that act within your tools, with guardrails.
- AI assistant on your internal documents, respecting access rights.
- Putting AI into production and running it: evaluation, monitoring, cost control.
- AI governance and the EU AI Act: inventory of uses, policy, training.
Our method follows four steps, whatever the subject: Scope, Build, Industrialise, Improve. Decisions are made with you, the deliverables belong to you and the documentation lets your teams stay autonomous. We remain neutral between AWS and Azure and never promise flat-rate savings: gains are measured on your own data.
An active digital and AI ecosystem
The Lille metropolitan area has an ecosystem worth knowing about when you launch a digital or AI project. These organisations are independent of Feekr; we mention them because they may be useful to you.
- EuraTechnologies, in Lille, is an innovation hub created in 2009 by the Lille European Metropolis, the Hauts-de-France Region and the City of Lille. It incubates and accelerates start-ups and hosts many digital technology events.
- La Cité de l’IA was launched in 2019 at the initiative of Medef Lille Métropole (the local branch of the French employers’ federation), with support from the French State and the Region. It helps regional businesses get to grips with artificial intelligence (events, workshops, meet-ups); among other things, it organised a first edition of the IA Summit in Lille in 2025.
- La Plaine Images, in Tourcoing, brings together companies and schools from the creative industries (imaging, video games, audiovisual).
For an SME starting out with AI, these organisations are a good entry point to learn and meet peers. Our role begins when an idea has to become a secure, operable solution in production.
How a first conversation works
- A 15-minute call. You explain your context and your question: a migration to prepare, a cloud bill that is drifting, an AI project to scope.
- A scoping workshop, in your offices in Lille or by video call, if working together makes sense. We bring together business priorities, the existing technical estate, data and security constraints.
- A written proposal with a scope, concrete deliverables and milestones. No figures promised without analysing your data.

Frequently asked questions
Do you work on site in Lille?
Yes. We are based in Villeneuve-d’Ascq and come to your offices in Lille and across the metropolitan area for scoping workshops, presentations of findings and knowledge-transfer sessions. Build work is then mostly done remotely, with regular check-ins.
Do you only work with companies based in Lille?
No. Being close by is an advantage for organisations in the Lille area and the Hauts-de-France region, but we also support projects elsewhere, remotely, with on-site visits when the project calls for them.
Are you an IT services company or a consulting firm?
Feekr is a consulting firm specialising in two areas: cloud (AWS and Azure) and AI in production. We do not place generalist contractors. We scope, build and industrialise with your teams, then hand over what they need to run the solution on their own.
Do you help SMEs in the Lille area with artificial intelligence?
Yes. We help SMEs and mid-sized companies identify useful use cases, check the state of their data and put a first, well-governed AI solution into production, with particular attention to security, cost and governance.
How does a first conversation work?
A free 15-minute call, with no commitment, to understand your context and your question. If working together makes sense, we propose a scoping workshop, in Lille or by video call, followed by a written proposal with a precise scope and deliverables.
A cloud or AI project to scope?
15 minutes to understand your context and tell you honestly whether we can help. Based in Lille, France, working on site or remotely.
