Cloud and AI consulting for companies in Hauts-de-France
From Villeneuve-d’Ascq, near Lille, Feekr supports companies in the Nord, the Pas-de-Calais and the rest of the Hauts-de-France region (northern France) with their AWS and Azure cloud and with putting AI into production, travelling on site for the moments that count.
A regional firm, based in the Lille metropolitan area
Hauts-de-France is the northernmost region of France, bordering Belgium, made up of five departments: Nord, Pas-de-Calais, Somme, Oise and Aisne.
Feekr is based at 11B avenue de l’Harmonie, Villeneuve-d’Ascq. We support companies in two complementary areas: cloud consulting on AWS and Azure and artificial intelligence in production. The Lille metropolitan area is our base (see our page on cloud and AI consulting in Lille), but we work across the whole region.
Our founder, Mohamed El Mardi, has 14 years of experience in software development and architecture, including ten years at Worldline, and studied at the Université de Valenciennes. He designs cloud infrastructure described entirely as code and AI solutions in production, including in environments subject to HDS (Hébergement de Données de Santé, the French certification for hosting health data).
Where we work
| Department | Towns we travel to |
|---|---|
| Nord | Lille and its metropolitan area, Roubaix, Tourcoing, Villeneuve-d’Ascq, Douai, Valenciennes, Maubeuge, Cambrai, Dunkirk |
| Pas-de-Calais | Arras, Lens, Liévin, Béthune, Calais, Boulogne-sur-Mer, Saint-Omer |
| Somme | Amiens, Abbeville |
| Oise | Beauvais, Compiègne, Creil |
| Aisne | Saint-Quentin, Soissons, Laon |
The principle is the same everywhere: scoping workshops, presentations to leadership and training sessions take place in your offices, while build and operations are done remotely. The number of on-site days is set in the proposal.
What we do for companies in the region
AWS and Azure cloud
- Migration to AWS or Azure: application inventory, strategy per application, wave plan, cutover and rollback.
- AWS consulting and Azure consulting: audit, organisation of accounts or subscriptions, landing zone, security.
- FinOps: visibility on the bill, cost allocation by team or product, savings levers measured on your own data.
- Cloud security and governance, Terraform and Kubernetes for reproducible, documented environments.
Artificial intelligence
- AI agents connected to your business tools, with limited permissions and human approval.
- AI assistant on your documents that cites its sources and respects access rights.
- Putting AI into production and LLMOps: evaluations, monitoring, cost per use.
- AI governance and the EU AI Act: usage policy, register of uses, training.

The challenges we see in the region
The Hauts-de-France economy combines manufacturing, logistics, retail and distribution, food processing, healthcare and services. Without claiming to be exhaustive, here are the subjects that come up most often.
- Modernising without stopping production. Many manufacturing and logistics companies run older applications, sometimes on remote sites. Migration happens application by application, with on-premises and cloud running side by side for as long as needed.
- Breaking free of licence lock-in. Rising costs for some virtualisation products are prompting companies to rethink their hosting. It is a chance to decide, for each application, whether to keep it, migrate it or replace it.
- Keeping a growing cloud bill under control. FinOps starts with knowing who consumes what, before looking for discounts.
- Moving from AI that has been tried to AI that is useful. An assistant on technical documentation, automatic sorting of customer requests or an agent that prepares case files are valuable provided they are reliable, secure and monitored.
- Protecting sensitive data. Health data, customer data or industrial secrets: the choice of hosting region, encryption and access is made at the design stage.
How to get started
- A 15-minute call to understand your context and your question.
- A scoping workshop, in your offices or by video call, if working together makes sense.
- A written proposal with a scope, deliverables, milestones and the planned on-site days.

Frequently asked questions
Do you work outside the Lille metropolitan area?
Yes. We travel throughout the region for scoping workshops, presentations of findings and team training: Arras, Lens, Douai, Valenciennes, Dunkirk, Boulogne-sur-Mer, Amiens, Beauvais, Compiègne, Saint-Quentin. Build work is then done remotely, with regular check-ins.
Is travel charged on top?
It is built into the proposal from the start, based on the number of on-site days the project actually needs. You know from the outset how much time we will spend in your offices and why.
Do you work with regional SMEs?
Yes. We match the level of sophistication to the size of the company and its teams: an SME does not need the same cloud organisation as a large group, nor the same set-up for a first AI use case.
Can you work across the border in Belgium?
We work in French and English and can support projects remotely beyond the region. For a need outside France, let’s discuss it on a first call to check that the proposed arrangement makes sense.
A cloud or AI project to scope?
15 minutes to understand your context and tell you honestly whether we can help. Based in Lille, France, working on site or remotely.
